Re: What do you suppose this clown was thinking?

In Canada, it's illegal to sell or possess any Canadian military uniform to anyone not in the military. I feel like this needs to be enacted here as well.... not only for pride reasons.. Think of security concerns.
Maybe he was trying to get out of paying those murderous baggage fees.
This is a legitimate point... If you show your military ID when you check in at the Airport, alot of times they won't make you pay to check your bags. The first thing I noticed about this dude was how F'd up his pants look. They are not tailored correctly and his shoes aren't shined. I know nothing about the Marine uniform and would not have noticed the Rank with the NCO stripe but i would have given him a weird look for his Blues pants looking like crap. I have never seen a marine in Blues look like a piece of Crap.

Poser strikes again. See what happens when you hang-out at Wal-Mart
after 2100.

Seriously, please be aware and inform your family members, civilian and
friends about this matter. Apparently, it's becoming a trend.

"If you're too afraid to lead, don't complain about following".

Poser strikes again at Wal-Mart. As I was looking at DVDs, I saw this
man walking/talking on the cell phone in the Service Alpha Uniform. I
did a double look and realized it was another poser. So, as he
approached the area I was standing in I asked to take a few photos of
him. So he struck a pose and asked me if I had ever seen a man in
uniform and I replied by saying "no." Then he said "not even in movies?"
Again, I replied by saying "no." He really got off on my response by
smiling a lot until I excused myself from choking him (that was my
initial reaction when I saw him).

So what's wrong with this picture: Obviously, he's not a Marine, he was
walking/talking on the cell phone (check out right hand), he's wearing
ribbons on the left/right breast pocket, no tie, no belt with uniform,
right bottom pocket is unbuttoned, he's wearing a nose ring which is
hard to see in the photos, he has a beard and he is wearing black boots.

I spotted him at Wal-Mart on Bruce B. Downes at 2140, 29 Jul 09. Also,
I was unable to get any information from him because he spoke very
minimal English.
It was a pretty horrible movie. And the acting was even worse. It disgusts me that someone would pose to be in the military, he should go to jail for that.
Um, they can. Ever hear of the Stolen Valor Act? Look it up... see all kinds of stupid mf'ers getting in trouble with it! :D

Which ribbons are not American? The ones over his right breast? They are Unit citations.

The other ones (the 5 or so rows!) You can't see any basic ones like Nat Def or USMC good conduct.

Possibly... I was in JROTC in HS and none of those look familiar. I am betting from another nation. Guy looks like one ate-up 'tard anyhow. I can't believe he thinks someone would buy that.. seriously, no tie?!?!

Who ever sold him the medals is also committing a crime.
18 USC Section 704. Military Medals or Decorations

(a) In General. - Whoever knowingly wears, manufactures, or sells any decoration or medal authorized by Congress for the armed forces of the United States, or any of the service medals or badges awarded to the members of such forces, or the ribbon, button, or rosette of any such badge, decoration or medal, or any colorable imitation thereof, except when authorized under regulations made pursuant to law, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

But according to this law isn't it illegal for people to wear pea coats?

No the email was floating around and it was sent to me..
..If that was me.. I would have made him walk out of the store without it... And if he said he was going to call the police I would have welcomed it..

I am a guy who like to see people in uniform and I am bold enough to ask them about their service to our country and when I see a phony I just get pissed about it.

Being a second generation Marine, and a man who have lost brothers in arms I don't look to kindly too it.
