Hi im new to this forum and i known since i was 8 that i wanted to be a pilot in the military. I just dont know which branch to go into...ive looked into the marines and have taken the aviation battery test (ASTB) and got the minimums needed to be a pilot in the corps. Im a freshman in college with a 3.88 gpa. So my question is would it be smart for me to join the guard and do ROTC? or join the guard and do basic and AIT this summer then delay my sophomore year in college? I really dont want to delay my education but if i have to i will. Also if i do ROTC can i be a warrant officer or just an officer?

If you're attending college anyway, ROTC is the best deal. Completing ROTC will earn you a lieutenant's commission. If you are otherwise eligible for appointment as a warrant officer and choose to pursue that option, you will not need to complete WOCS. You are welcome to email me directly for additional guidance.
