Christian Bale is completely awesome... he will make a great Terminator. And while I'm at it, all the Terminator movies are awesome... T2 was the best in my opinion

Alright, Chief--- checked out the trailer... and automatically remembered why I hate "teasers" so much. They're so darn teasing! Ha! In all seriousness though, it looked awesome.

                            • Here are a few movies, if you can get past the 1990's in war movies, after all there were plenty before Saving Private Ryan, which the special effects were great, but that doesn't always make for a great war movie.

                              Hitler, The Last Ten Days
                              Patton
                              Das Boot
                              Midway
                              The Battle of Britain
                              The Big Red One
                              A Bridge Too Far
                              The Bridge at Remagen
Cross of Iron (Steiner - Das Eiserne Kreuz)
                              Empire of the Sun
                              Flying Leathernecks
                              The Great Escape
                              Stalag 17
                              Halls of Montezuma
                              In Harm's Way
                              Kelly's Heros
                              The Longest Day
                              Sands of Iwo Jima
                              Schindler's List

                              • Chief, you cannot be serious about courage under fire. OMG that movie was so gay. I hated the cliche'd "I'll hold 'em off. You guys go on without me. Save yourselves." Classic cheese. And then the pilot lady just starts mowing down waves of Republican Guard with her infinite magazine of 5.56mm. Not knockin' your pick, but it was probably the worst war movie I have ever seen.

                                On a more positive note...

Sorry if I missed it, but I didn't see anyone put down Generation Kill, the HBO mini-series. I absolutely loved every minute of it, except for all of the officer bashing. I don't know who is to blame (writer, director, ???), but they made the officers look completely incompetent and stupid and it didn't seem realistic. It was funny, exciting and it really brought me back to my little tour during the initial invasion. I especially liked the radio traffic at the end...calls for fire, SEAD missions, etc.

                                DPICM in effect, y'all.
