  • Ar 670-1 (rotc)

This may be an obvious question, but I'm getting conflicted answers. When wearing the ROTC Class A uniform, am I authorized to wear my unit awards and AMEDD regimental crest? Thanks.

ROTC has its own uniform regulation, which your ROTC chain of command must have. From memory, I recall that ROTC with earned ribbons from military service could wear either their ROTC ribbon or their "real" ribbons, but not mix them. You should find that regulation prior to doing anything, of course.

      LSS,

As a cadet, you are authorized to wear you Army awards and skill badges (do not wear ROTC awards if you have Army awards. They look like **** in comparison and you can't mix 'em.) However, you will now wear the ROTC DUI, "ROTC"/Torch of Knowledge lapel pins and cadet rank.

AR 670-1 does not cover this. I believe it is a CC publication that details it.
