I know the best option is to directly contact your state specific recruiter, but I figured I would get some preliminary information prior to contacting them. The long and the short of it is:

-DUI 3 years ago, first and last run in with the law
-graduated college w/ a 4 yr degree and high GPA
-currently a 2nd year in law school
    -24 years old

Is there any possibility of waiver in this situation? I was informed by an enlisted recruiter that the AR would not accept anyone with a prior into an officer program; however I'm not sure how or if that translates into the NG.

I'll be contacting my state specific officer recruitment branch this week but I just wanted to see if anyone had been in a similar situation.

    Thanks.

    Re: southeast ng question

I know that my OCS class has a couple of people who had DUIs they had to get waivers for. It's probably just up to your state on whether the waiver is granted or not. It definately can be done, though.
