  • Kentucky to Korea

I'm sending out resumes to teach english as a second language in South Korea. I'm also a 17 year veteran of the National Guard and plan to leave at 20. Does anyone know how I would go about being assigned to any units in South Korea near where I would be teaching? I've been told I can be assigned to an Army Reserve unit at one of about 30 bases there. How would I go about doing that? Who do I talk to first? Do I have to have any paperwork confirming any job offers, ect?

Oh man....don't go to Korea. I taught there for the better part of 6 years. You are NOT considered a "teacher". ESL teachers have the same status as a dishwasher....I'm serious.

    Do some research...........www.daveseslcafe.com

Are you talking about an Army Reserves unit? I would check on the Army Reserve forums. Wish I had more info for you. You could also check with a recruiter.
