    This may be a stupid question but i cant seem to find the answer anywhere. How long are we given when we test how many push ups and sit ups we can do? Or is it just how many we can do without passing out? Id like to practice as close to the real thing as i can so i can be prepared. And any thoughts on how to shorten my two mile running time would be much appreciated. thanks for any responses

      Really, you couldn't find the answer to the time limit for the push-up and sit-up exercises on the APFT ANYWHERE?

        The best way to improve your run is to do sprints. For example walk for 60 seconds and then sprint 30 seconds. Do that 8-10 times to start, and go from there depending if you can do more or less. Good luck.
