  • Does having bunion surgery disqualify me from enlisting?

I had surgery in 2008 on both of my feet to remove a small bunion. No screws or metal plates are currently being used to support my bones. I do have a scare on the top of both of my feet about 1" long. I have no problems with movement or pain. Would this disqualify me from Enlisting? If so is it possible to obtain a waiver for this medical issue? Thank you.

Only the Doc at MEPS can DQ you. Don't listen if someone tells you to quit. If you wanta do it, make it happen.
Woohoo, too much coffee for me this morning.

Likewise, you might as well go with the flow. None of us can tell you yes or no. You have a chance, though.
