Belvoir is nice. AIT there (from what I see at the DFAC) is easy and slack. There are A LOT of civilians on post, they outnumber the military. The entire base is going thru reconstruction to fit a brand new big hospital (around 10-20k people expected to be working on post by the begining of next year). 1 lane roads are widening to become 2 or 3 lane roads ON POST.
It's going to ****.
Summer = too hot and humid
Winter = too cold and windy
Off post = a korean club that will probably give you some sort of disease
I work at Fort Belvoir, it's honestly not bad if you work here, but in a training environment, I can see how it can ****. It's so good, I'm thinking about living on base.
