    I don't trust the answers on Yahoo. Their accuracy is hit or miss.

    From what I understand, there are no age restrictions on enlisted MOS's. You must be 18 to enlist on your own, but your parents can sign so that you can enlist at 17. I actually enlisted a month before my 18th birthday.

      The USAR does have one combat arms unit left and combat arms slots in training divisions. Other then that, the majority of combat arms falls within the NG.

      So that means if you're looking at IN or FA, you would to look at the NG.

      MP's can be found in both the NG and USAR. Unless the unit is a law and oder detachment, you're probably not going to see a lot of law enforcement training.

      Talk to a recruiter from both components and see which MOS's/Units best meets your needs/wants.
