If you want to get out of your current Guard contract you'd have to have to get a conditional release approved by your State's Command. You and an active duty recruiter would fill out and sign a DD Form 368("Request for Conditional Release") and submit it to your unit's command. Keep in mind that your commander as well as anybody above him can deny your request for a conditional release for any reason. You are also going to have to write a statement as to why you want to leave the National Guard and go Active Duty. Also keep in mind that this process can take months and the needs of the regular Army change month by month.
