    I don't know that prorated combat pay would effect too many dramatically except for maybe fighter pilots. Those guys fly through the hot area for 2 minutes, drop a **** and get their whole month tax free plus extras. Other than that I would think it wouldn't effect too many on a great scale.

      I know that, I fully support the idea that if you're jumping for pay, you're stupid. The Guard doesn't make it financially worth it, and that's for sure. I still get bills from the hospital over my last jump. I think my last jump cost me more money than I've ever made in jump pay at this point.
