    MOS Conversion Bonus (MOSCB)
    1. Minimum 3 years term of service beginning on the date the MOS is awarded.
    2. Must have enough time on their contract to complete the training needed. Soldier must extend if they do not have enough service time to complete their training. This time begins the date the MOS is awarded.
    3. Must meet all the requirements for the MOS and be qualified to train and attend classes.
    4. A Soldier under their initial enlistment contract is NOT eligible for this incentive. However, a Soldier under their reenlistment/extension contract is eligible and may concurrently receive the Reenlistment/Extension Bonus (REB), Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP), or the Montgomery GI Bill Kicker incentive.
    5. A Soldier in a double-slotted MOS position must move to a slot as a primary position holder in order to accept this incentive. The applicant must meet the MOS skill and rank requirements. No exceptions authorized. Refer to regulation or recruiter for more details.
    6. Applicant must meet the Time In Service (TIS) requirements: E5 and below is UNLIMITED; E6 is no more than 10 years.
    7. A Memorandum of Agreement must be signed prior to scheduling re-class training. Refer to regulation or recruiter for more details.
    8. Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) and Military Technician specialists are not eligible for this incentive. This includes Soldier’s that take a position before completing the MOS training. Refer to regulation for any exceptions.
    9. Soldiers transferred from the ARNG MMA and coded "999M" are not eligible for this incentive.
    10. If a Soldier is released from MOSCB for compassionate reasons, they must have documentation showing that the reasons from release no longer exist.
    11. Incentive is paid upon the effective date the MOS is awarded. Refer to the regulation on how to complete the application as well as important payment details.

    *An applicant should ALWAYS refer to their local recruiter for the most up-to-date information on payment installments and amounts. These can and do vary between states and often change overnight.
