Maybe we will all have an answer come June. This camo fiasco is exhausting, now I just want leadership to demonstrate that they indeed have leadership and make a decision. Its frightening to think how reluctant and scared big Army leaders are in making a decision on camo. I can only imagine what today's Army would do if faced with a truly difficult decision such as the invasion of Normandy. I wonder if they would bust out the trusty CRM matrix.

Explosive, I saw your post on SSD's website and honestly, I do not think multicam was selected but a digital variant of it to be bookend with the Marine Corps' patterns. What are your thoughts? Should be a real answer soon.

Well, its not the decision I was hoping for but I guess it was the one I was expecting. We can all agree that its 100x better than UCP but is still inferior to MultiCam. I get more frustrated when I think about the camo trials from 2002-2004 because to me it seems the Army took 10 years to make a real decision. Now after Phase IV and knowing there are at least four FAMILY of patterns that are superior to Scorpion it feels like we are repeating history. At least I'll still be able to use the MultiCam gear I have acquired.

On a side not I want to see what the Army came up with for that Digital Transitional Pattern just out of curiosity. I'm wondering if it was the same or similar to the Navy's transitional AOR.

This "Scorpion" thing isn't "bad", other than it's unfortunate that with something SO CLOSE to MultiCam, (and yet not quite), it will mean the 6 pairs of MultiCam I have now will be useless and we'll end up paying $500 for new uniforms. Go figure.

After all this time, bitching and complaining, I am so glad that the Army has a made a decision and we are about to end the UCP era. I can't wait to get the new uniform.

Explosive Hazard and I are at the SSD website that discusses the new Army camo and here is the article for it. http://www.armytimes.com/article/201...-new-Army-camo The new Army Times has a two-page section dedicated to it about the changes. Release date is summer 2015.
