        Oh and those NCOES and PME courses you were going to? Nah, you can wait some more.

        Makes me "excited" to see what BOLC backlogs are going to look like after I'm done with OCS.

          There are many times when FA units take on roles as Infantry or Military Police especially Guard units instead of their doctrinal mission as FA.

            We infantry are always looking for packmules to carry the radio and other annoying equipment. Oh hey! Can you operate a shovel? We might need a mortar pit dug while we get the lawn chairs and hot dogs out of the humvee.

              Right, but those are "in-lieu-of" missions. They're still FA units with FA soldiers. Cancelling IET for new FA soldiers altogether is a bad sign.
