  • It happened again!!!

It was a crazy weekend here in RC-East as you are probably aware from all the news reports. Well, we had a communications blackout due to casualties but the article came out about this incident. Please, when you deploy, do not notify or tells what happens in the combat zone.

    Here is the article

And then I received this email after the blackout was lifted like I really cared for a refund.

    Dear SniperHill Subscriber:

SniperHill must comply with all Command-ordered blackouts under its DOD/AAFES contract. Blackouts, also known as "Restricted Comms" or "River City", are ordered by Command and are not lifted until next of kin is notified following a death on or near the affected area of operations.

All SniperHill subscribers must agree to the terms of use (TOU) user agreement prior to point of purchase. Each potential user has the choice of accepting or rejecting the agreement. Those who decline the TOU do not proceed beyond the "buy now" option which becomes disabled for any personal service plan. Each and every potential purchase is conditional to the user accepting the agreement and thereby agreeing to abide by its terms.

Pursuant to 6. Limitation of Liability found in the SniperHill TOU, Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SniperHill does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, including but not limited to scheduled and/or unscheduled local power interruptions, brown outs, black outs, power surges, power outages and Command-ordered OPSEC, INFOSEC, TRANSEC blackouts.

For any other questions regarding the Command-ordered blackouts, please visit your local Mayor Cell.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I really hope that the legal team for this soldier finds a very creative way to put the smackdown. What a total POS.
