  • ADME- Active Duty Med. Extension

Hello I am part of the TN National Guard. I have not completed basic. I was sent on home on REFRAD because I need surgery on a broken hand I sustained in basic. It is to my understanding when I dont have DR.'s appointments that I will pretty much be running around for higher ups and doing paperwork/ filing for them. My question is how much freedom will I have (i.e. cell phone, px trips, movie theater, stuff like that)? Has anyone on here done this or dealt with anything like this before what can I expect?

Are you asking what kinds of freedom you'll get while at AIT? Or back at home at your unit?

Honestly, it sounds like in either case, you'll need to get clarification directly from the one who is directing your tasks. My guess is that you wouldn't have any more freedoms in AIT then the other Soldiers in your platoon.
