    Re: eligibility

Unfortunately all waivers for marijuana possession have been suspended. Depending on what exactly his charge is, he may be able to join with a moral waiver, although, to join under the GED Plus Program you cannot have any moral waivers.

A quick call to a local Recruiter should be able to clear up his eligibility.

Yup. Moral waivers for drug possession are currently suspended. This may change in the future, so I might suggest your son go ahead and get his GED now along with the 15 college credits he'll need to be eligible to enlist once the suspension is waived. In this way he'll be ready!
