I am currently in the Navy reserves with an E4 rank and have been trying to MA but the Navy has been giving the run around. I will be going to the police academy in June. How hard will it be to join the ANG after being in the Navy reserves for 3 years?

Well the hardest part about joing the Guard is getting your documents to your recruiter, filling out the paperwork and raiseing your hand to enlist, should take less 3 days assuming you have ETSd from the navy and they gave you a clean 214 (recode) and it was honorable. You will be required to attend WTC (see other threads on that inthe prior service)

Master-at-Arms? So you would like to go MP in the guard?
Just talk to your recruiter about slots open in your state.
