Please be a little more clearer and respectful to others who read your posts. No one will take you seriously at all with that kind of format and using CAPS.

now you sound highly scarcastic...im 19 years old im young i have my own way of talking around my friends but i dont speak that way on these forums. Were all respectable people here who know how to speak around officials and authority figures which is how you should speak here. The ASVAB is nothing to be afraid of study and know your stuff. Take your time on the test and dont ever feel rushed or pressured just relax and youll do fine.

Young Lady Soldier,
Do not worry about the ASVAB, this is a test that lets us (both you and your recruiter) see what your strenths are so we can assist you in getting a job your quailified for and you'll end up being happy with. There a number of ASVAB prep sites and books you can get to help you out. Big thing to remember, do not rush. You should do fine

Good morning!
I would recommend getting an ASVAB study guide if you have not already- a couple good ones are 'ASVAB for DUmmies" and the "McGraw-Hill ASVAB Guide" the latter has a DVD that comes in the book, so you can take practice tests on your computer and it shows your strengths and weaknesses.
I studied for just a couple of days and I am convinced it made a pretty big difference in my scores.
You should speak to a recruiter and find out your best options for balancing school with your service, I would think the College First option might apply but I am no expert.
Good luck and keep us posted!

I had gone to my local public library and found about 10 books to study for the ASVAB. Free to check out. Just a thought since after the test you wont ever need the books again. I also worried about taking the test, especially after being out of school for 14 years...it wasnt bad at all. Shouldnt have worried as much.

Go to
http://www.military.com/asvab
This is a nice little tool, that is free to use and is quite helpful.
As far as anything else, do not worry about others thoughts on respect and sarcasm - it is what it is and you adjust to the situation. Best of luck!
