I posted earlier in the Officer forum bout OCS, but this is the question I should have asked first.
I was originally tying to get back into game via the Guard as a 68x (mental health specalist). I was told the first time i tried coming back in that it shouldnt be a problem and that due to my last profile when i was still active it would probably work to my advantage. But when we did the paperwork, I was denied a medical waiver. Initially I gave up till i met another recruiter who was willing to put in the work. And thus Im in the position I am in.
He has told me of the long proces of trying to get the waiver for my medical discharge but I didn't quite understand. Something about MEPS has to approve of me taking the physical, then i have to see a shrink, he then approves me for service or something of the sort then its up to the Guard Bureau(maybe?) Question being, what are my odds of getting back in under this MOS and what do I have to do? I'll do what I have to do ensure my chances, I just dont want to go on the rest of my life with the "what ifs."
Any help would be immensly appreciated :)
