I am a former Marine who is thinking on joining the CA National Guard. I am tempted by the 3yr or 6yr bonus and the fact that my old MOS is one of their top MOS's. That being said, what can I expect, or what advice can you give a father thinking on going into the Guard? (I am only in my early 30s)
Anything that I should think about?
Will NCO training in my MOS help me out ($$, Rank) in the guard?
