I ETS in June 2008 and will get 50% of my enlistment bonus then. However, Im thinking about going to OCS. Will I be getting that bonus I'm entitled to and what are the bonuses for officers. Thanks.

As I understand it . . .

When you receive your commission, your enlistment contract will be terminated regardless of how much time you have left on it. If you do this before you qualify for your second-half bonus, you will not receive the second half. You also may be subject to recoupment of bonuses already received (as spelled out in your contract), so pay attention to the timing and the language of your contract.

You will receive a $10K bonus for becoming an officer (I can't recall if this is after finishing OCS or after finishing the BOLC training that follows . . . ).

The $10k officer accession bonus is payable when you are duty qualified as an officer -- after BOLC-III completion.
