I am prior service RA and am wanting to join VANG. As the title states my RE code is 3 and Separation code is JKA. The narrative states misconduct. I came up hot on one urinalysis and had some problems with financial difficulties. My old unit was going to keep me in but I broke restriction and they chaptered me out. This happened in 1994. Since then I have gotten an associates degree in business management. I am currently working on my bachelors degree. I have tried two other times to get back in but it was like I was getting the run around. I was just wondering if I should just forget about it or is there other people that have succeeded in getting back in. I just want the chance to correct my mistake. Thanks for taking the time to review my information.

i enlisted under the collage first program with kicker (on 9-11-06) I was in formed to day because i had a GED (and 22 collage credits ) that i wasnt eligable butif i had waited till oct to enlist that i would have been eligable is this true what can i do:mad:

feeling lied to and betrayed please help i love being in the service waited all my life for this (I am 38yrs old) ould like some clarity
