I just swore in on tuesday. My MOS is 63B, light-wheeled vehicle mechanic. I'm looking foward to life as a Army National Guard Soldier and I can't wait for basic training to begin.

Congrats on your swear in!!!! You said your headed to Fort Sill on the 5th. I head off too to Fort Sill on the 4th of Sept. You and I will probably meet up at Reception..... My MOS is 88M.

Where are you from? I'm here in San Jose California. The wait is just driving me nuts. I try to keep my mind busy and try to hike or run whenever possible. I have my first drill next week. Have you gone to any drills?

I ship for BCT on next year, February the 13th, to Fort Knox then to Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland for AIT. Till then I'll be in the Recruit Sustainment Program here so I guess I should have plenty of time to get prepared.

Congratulations CJ88 on enlisting. I enlisted as 92F and will be leaving for BCT in 18 days to FLW and then Ft. Lee for AIT. Best of luck with your career.

****...I'm probably too late and you don't check up on here anymore. But CJ88 if you're still around, I leave for BCT on APril 2nd, and I am a 92F. I'll be going to Fort Lee around mid-june.

Tell me all about the job! I wanted to get out ASAP and this was one of the only ones in the aviation battalion that allowed me to leave early...so I dont know much about it. I had to pick it at MEPS.
