Can this be done? I have heard a variety of answers from both ends. I am currently in the Air National Guard and would like to transfer to Army National Guard. Any info is appreciated, thank you

I know you can do that. However, I was referring to the program that lets you transfer over during your enlistment.

You can join the Army National guard from the Air national guard during enlistment, but you have to request a discharge or a conditional release on a DD form 368. This form is valid for only 90 days from date signed by unit commander or designated representative.

Thank you. I contacted a local recruiter today, and am going to talk more with him next week when he'll be back in the office. If you could answer a couple questions that would be great, but dont worry if not cause I'll be talking to him. My first one is concerning my bonus. How will this work transferring over? I would assume as long as I stay in a critical job I will still get my bonus, but maybe this is wrong. Also, I am security forces, which I would think would transfer to MP. If I want, can I change jobs, thinking of infantry. Thank you
