I was wondering if there was a way to know if you qualify for a certain job before you sign up? Could I take the ASVAB and get my score before actually enlisting? My fear is that I will enlist, take the ASVAB and prepare for the job I want, only to not qualify for it and suddenly end up a cook or something. I really don't want to enlist if I can't be one of two jobs that I picked out.
Thanks for the help

You take the asvab before you enlist , you need to because you have to actualy pass to enlist , if you do not get a 31 or higher you didnt pass

excellent, thank you for the reply. I am finding some study guides now for the test, hopefully get the score I need to become a 31b, which I think I need a 95 in the area of ST to pass.
