I was discharged from the Navy about 6 years. I received a general discharge (under honorable conditions) with an RE-4 reentry code. The narrative reason for separation was misconduct and got a HKQ separation code. Is it possible for me to enlist in the Guard and attend officer candidate school? I would very much like to do that since I just recently graduated college this past summer. I would greatly appreciate any responses!

I was recently discharged from the Navy for Depressive disorder and recieved an re-4 code. I think its really ****ed up because I dont have depressive disorder. I am planning on getting a clearance from a psychologist saying im fit for full duty, but when I was in, there was this leutienent that told me I should write to the BCNR, the board for correction of navy records and
I was also told I could write to the CNO regarding my case:(

Dont know if you ever got the answer you were looking for but just from the things you put on your posting I would venture to say yes you are eligible to join. If you are from the state of nj or the tri-state area I would most certainly like to help you out. Again if you have already enlisted then just let me know. My cell phone number is listed on the posting just give me a call and I will see what I can do for you. In my office I am called the waiver king, I have pretty much done them all. Looking forward to hearing from you.
