Use the "search" button, and you'll find much of what you want to know is already on the message board.

After you've done a little reading, contact me directly and I'll ensure that you get hooked up with the right people. The Guard needs WO pilots, because 25% or more of our existing pilots have enough years of service to retire today, and it takes a year or more to train a new one.

The path to the pilot seat is not easy, however, and will require sacrifices on your part. If you are willing to do the work, you can achieve your goal. Don't contact me unless you're serious about this.

My husband has been thinking about going back in the service as part of the MO guard. He served for 7 years (3 in the KS guard and then 4 active) He got out in 2002.
Coming from a strictly numbers stand point (bonuses) Which would be better? One of his former MOS is both a national critical MOS and a state critical.
He has been thinking about going to OCS. SO would it be better to join as enlisted and then apply for OCS, or to do it all through his recruiter?

Thanks for all your help
