I'm a contracted Army ROTC Cadet in the SMP program with the PA Guard and I was wondering if there are any options for officers in the ARNG to serve as divers? I searched all around and the only thing I can really find is active duty SF officers as divers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

You've already got the answer. Combat diver is a very rare speciality in the military, and the Navy has the majority of that; and of that, the majority are enlisted personnel.

As a commissioned officer, you're a generalist. You're supposed to have a broad spectrum of awareness and experience, hence the vast majority of people doing highly specialized tasks such as diver, EOD, parachute rigger, are enlisted personnel.
