I enlisted last week as a 21b and a 20k bouns. if I change my mos to 13f or 18c in a year or two before I get the other 10k will I still get the rest? or do I have to stay as a 21b for 3 years to receive the full 20k?

Once you complete AIT and are qualified for an MOS, you don’t lose that MOS. So if you wanted to add an additional MOS to your skills, you wouldn’t necessarily by “switching” your MOS. Instead, you would be qualified for two different jobs. As a result, you wouldn’t lose your MOS because you are still your initial MOS as well as your new one.

Correction, Under your contract it states ver batem

" I understand that I will be terminated from bonus eligibility, with recroupment, if I;

6. Voluntarily transfer to a non-critical skill and non-bonus unit ( if enlisted for a critical skill I must remain in that critical skill for the first three year period). Recoupment will be effective date of transfer. "

Basicaly if you switch MOS to a non critical MOS you will not only not recieve the final 10,000 but you will be required to pay back the first 10,000

Well it seems it just says critical so both state and national are 20k bonuses so.. i would talk to your state bonus control officer. That is my best advice on that one.
