Well, Im almost 19 years old. Im a single mommy, well I have another half(my GIRLFRIEND),but, not the father of the baby (dont know who he is anyways) I want to enlist in the GUARD but aint sure bout' the things i need... Such as car payments and insurance, Rent, Baby needs allowance for cost of living and so fourth. But, I wanna join the guard and go into becoming an MP. When i go into BAsic Training will my bills and money for my child be taken care of? My mother will have full responsibility and guardianship of my child, but, will I have enough money from the guard to pay bills and take care of my priorities?
Someone please help and answer my questions

**don't ask don't tell**
While you're away at training you get paid like regular army (full-time army).

I know from personal experience that when I was in the Navy when my kids were both little all my bills and expenses were taken care of via direct deposit..

What you can do is sit down with a recruiter and discuss the finical portion of your bills and figure out if everything will be covered. Another way of saving money while at boot camp is one to give up the apartment or move in with your friend and split the rent (so you’re not paying the full amount by yourself).
Now if you have credit problems or law violations you may want to pick something other than MP. For MP you are required to go through a security interview which involves your finance and any law violations from parking tickets to whatever, but if that’s no an issue go for it.
