Currently i am trying to enlist in full time army, getting alot of half and half answers about wether or not the waiver will go through.
I have RE 3P from USMC for patella femoral syndrome.

Question am i enlistable in the National Guard? I have had 8 years of strenuous activity as a police officer and a fire fighter and can cite numerous extreme physical achievments. Civillean Doc has said it was not an accurate diagnosis and that it was pretty normal for me to have knee pain after a 22 mile hump.

VA denied any claim and i got 0% from USMC. VA explained i had no disabillity, basically the counsellor said in the VA's eyes there is nothing wrong with me. Civi-doc said it was probablly a way to fast track me out during the cutback era in the 1990's. Either way nothing is wrong with my knees. Was to young then to know what to do to fight it. No knee problems since then.

I want to go full time if possible, but will go guard if thats my only choice. Lastly im not sure Kentucky has any Infantry units and im not sure how the enlistment works for the guard and MOS. I was an Infantry marine in STA (Surveillance and Target Aquisition) not sure if guard has snipers or even kentucky has a infantry unit,

Any help appreciated.
