PS with honorable discharge. Received sep code of JFV for failing to meet weight standards back in 1985. Weight nor health is an issue now. Otherwise, I qualify for multiple critical shortage MOS' (88M, 88N, 42A). What is likely hood of getting the waiver approved? My AFQT is 68 and my old MOS 15E Pershing Missile Crewmember no longer exists; will I get a pick of MOS' based on my AFQT at MEPS? Lastly, what is MEPS like for a PS over 40? How more involved is the physical? Thank you in advance.

Looking at the Enlistment Criteria Manual it looks like you will need a state AG waiver. Yes you wil need to take the ASVAB again, and that will determin what jobs you qualify for just like before. I have never taken anyone over 40 to MEPS. I take PS to a TMC here at Ft Indiantown Gap, PA. I do know that an over 40 physical, you get your choleterol checked and an EKG but anything else I am not sure of.
