I am going for my physical in two days and am a bit concerned about "fair wear and tear" on my thirty eight year old body. Are older prior service recruits given the same exam as the young bucks? Specifically, blood pressure(a little high ).

Good question, 39 yrs old here. Man o' Man blood pressure almost got me. I made the huge mistake of not having breakfast and taking a 32 ounce coffee mug with me for the ride. I had to laugh when they took the blood pressure the 3rd time and the lady said good enough. Have no worries, you are who you are. Stay away from 32 ounces of "military" style coffee though caffeine increases the heart rate thus increasing the blood pressure.
The differences I saw between my and the "kids" during the physical:
I did not play around.
I treated the staff with courtesy and respect, therefore receiving it back.
My wait time between testing was not as long as others. I had a MD pull me in first over others ahead of me.
Best of luck and you should have zero issues. I am about broken down but can still hang with the best of them.

Try to cut your salt intake at least a week before you go to the Meps. My pressure runs a little high and that helped me. Im 42 and I made it.
One more thing, Im not sure if this is true or not but somebody told me not to eat fatty foods within 48 hours of your blood test because it can make your
colesteral read high. Good look, let us know if you made it.
