To pass at basic, you need to have a minimum score of 50 for two minutes of push ups/two minutes of sit ups/and two mile run.
At AIT you need to have a minimum score of 60 for each.
You can find these standards from the home page of the site, click on customize this site towards the top left corner, click on non prior service, then hover your mouse over the training section, (towards top of page, left side) and click on guard standards from the drop down menu, and then click on Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT). You can also find height/weight standards on same page.
To ship to BCT women need to be able to do 3 push-ups, 17 sit-ups and run one-mile in 10:30 (not sure if those 3/17 have a one or two minute time limit, although time shouldnt come into factor for that many) The drill you will attend before shipping to basic NORMALLY does one minute and one mile, with ocassional full two minute/two mile tests.
push ups: BCT 13/AIT 19
sit ups: BCT 47/AIT53
run: BCT 19:42/AIT 18:54
The training you should be doing before enlisting, you receive at RSP drill, and the conditioning at BCT...in my opinion, meeting those MINIMUM requirements shouldnt be an issue. If nothing else, what they have you doing at BCT will more then prepare you for the minimum.
Question I have...a 50 for my age for the run is 23:06, cut that in half for the one mile.... i'm getting ripped off! (10:30 pre ship requirement) lol Of course thats if my stanima is that I can do the same on the first and second mile! JUST KIDDING!
