I have completed all of my paperwork for WOCS, but I have one more waiver that I need to get in. Since I have only been an E-5 for a year, I only have 1 NCOER. I have absolutley no idea how to write a request for waiver for this. Does anybody have any examples or insight on how to write it?

You shouldn't be on your own. Your state's Officer Strength Manager or Command Chief Warrant Officer should be holding your hand on this whole process, particularly waiver requests.

You should be able to address the minimum number of NCOERs is a memorandum or in your resume/bio. This can be strngthened by letters of endorsement from your command and senior warrant officers in your field and that your work with. It is not a show stopper, get your packet together with the other requirements, there are other ways to address you leadership and drive to be a warrant officer. Need help 703 614 4548.

This may be a duplicate as I thought I already posted once.
Do not worry so much on that one thing. Ensure that you packet is complete with all of the other requirements. You can supplement the NCOERs with letters of recommendation from your command and senior warrants that know you and that you work with. Proponent would rather see letters from personnel that are in your field that you are applying to. Good luck, need help 703 614 4548.

I called the Florida Officer Strengh Manager numbers from links you have provided before and the people who answered the phone really didn't know what I was talking about or helped with OCS enlistment questions. I'm just looking for who can help me with starting the OCS process.
Thanks.

Contact me directly offline, and we'll fix this. I've been out of the net for a little while, but I still have a thick list of contacts all over the country. Email or message me directly.

It would seem that I had an RE3 from 20 years ago that popped up on an old DD 214, Recruiter seems to think that it will be a show stopper. Kiddies, listen to your parents, that mark on your record will stay there forever.

It is not a show stopper per say, it all depends on the reason, characterization and the circumstances behind the reason. All they can say is no and if you feel that it was or is wrong, appeal to the ABCMR.

As fate would have it, when I reenlisted in the guard, my RE-3 was waivered then, so no waiver needed for warrant officer school. My Packett has been approved by proponency and I am well on my way to the coveted dotted bar. Just gotta loose a few pounds.
