....but i was wondering if i can since i'm an illigal immigrant? and would i be able to get all the benefits?

No. You can join if you are a legal permanent resident ("Green Card"). I strongly recommend that you pursue legal residency.

You won't be able to join if until you become a legal permanent resident of the US.

You can NOT join unless you are an Natralized Citizen. You will have to have INS documentation showing that you are legally in this country.

oh that ***** .. i guess there goes the guard? there isnt anyway the guard can help me right?

There is nothing the Guard can do to help you get a Green Card. That is something that you have to do on your own.
