Went and spoke to a 3rd recruiter yesterday. He did some checking about the med issues and came up with a possiblity for me to enlist. it is going to take some time on my part and patience but got the straight poop finally. The two guys in the office poured over the manuals and worked the phones a got answers from the brass at the NG headquarters. I guess it pays to shop around.:D So now it has come down to whethwer the Navy or the Guard is going to give me what I am looking for. So far the Guard is in the lead because the education benefits are slightly better (the Navy doesn't have student loan reembursment) and the Guard will allow me to keep my E5 after WTC.
