I Was at MEPS on Monday and found out that I am colorblind even failed the FALANT test. So I was wondering If anyone could tell me what MOS's for the national Guard I can still qualify for being colorblind. I scored a 91 on the ASVAB so that wont hold me back from anything. I've heard mixed answers about 15P Aviation operations specialist, and if you can be colorblind or not. If there is someone who knows any answers and could help me out that would be great!
Thanks
Dustin

On my second trip to MEPS I was told that I would have to change MOS's because I am color blind. The first time I was there, they didn't catch it. I was supposed to go 21Bravo Combat Engineer. I am now 88November Traffic Management Coordinator. Fort Jackson, Fort Eustis, for AIT. I will still receive all of the $20000 bonus, Gi Bill, and student loan repayment. I know here in Michigan I will be one of 5 other 88N qualified in the state. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad one.
I leave Feb 14th - next week !
Good luck with your choice.

Being colorblind erally limits your MOS choices. Mainliy Adim jobs, like 42A and 44C. I am not up on all the jobs, but your recruiter or the Guard Counslors at MEPS can tell you. There is an MOS list and it has the requirements for all the jobs. It will tell you if you can be in the job being colorblind.
