Will having a DWI and Drinking in Public affect me being able to join. If these matters are paid off, and everything is taken care of, will I have to get a waiver?

You should have no problem joining the ARNG. The DWI, however, could prevent you from selecting certain types of job specialties but you won't know for sure until you contact a local recruiter.

By the requlation if thats all you have then you will not need a waiver. All fines need to be paid and any probation time needs to be completed. Go see a recruiter near you.

It depends on how many you have, but no just one DUI would be fine, get in contact with a local recruiter. If your in NJ or near you can always call me

Yes I'm pretty sure you will have to get a wiaver, especially if it has happened recenlty. I was down at MEPS on monday and there was someone who did not have a waiver for a DWI and he got disqualyfied.
