ok i have a question.... If someone qualified for the one of the guards top ten most needed jobs such as an MP...but scored less than 50 on the ASVAB... would he still recieve a $20,000 bonus? I see that all branches require atleast score of 50 to recieve a Sign on Bonus.

Another thing. I am currently a senior in High School and I am Currently enlisted in the ARMY DEP program...If i wrote a letter to my recruiter to discharge from the delayed entry program and got discharged. Could I still join the guard? would i Still get a sign on bonus? would I recieve the sign on bonus after my contract is over or after AIT training? would i still get the $20,000? after i discharge from the dep program are you allowed to retake the asvab? can you retake the asvab while you are in a delayed entree program to simply raise ur score?

cuz i am currently talking to a Guard recruiter and my Army Recruiter.... and they both say that they are lieng to me... i think they are both lieing thoe.. I told my Recruiter to take me back up to MEPS under renegotiation to see if I can get a mos that gives a sign on bonus for someone that scored below a 50 on the ASVAB...or else i said i was discharging from the DEP.. he said he would get right on that. i scored a 42 on the asvab...so wtf do i do? i called the national guard hotline and the lady said that you have to score atleast 50 on the asvab to recive a bonus from the National guard...then when she found out i was in the Army she became ignorant and snotty. so what website will explain what you must have to recieve a bonus from the Guard?
