I'm slated to be an automated logistical specialist. I'm pretty lousy at math and was wondering if I need to squeeze in some extra study (logistics, statistics, computers?) before I leave for training. I know they'll teach me all aspects of the job at AIT, but I'm afraid they'll assume that everyone is at a certain level in certain areas. I got a 68 on the ASVAB test...they tell me that's a really good score, better than my recruiter expected...but I'm not sure it accurately represents my actual abilities. I realize it's a wide-ranging job and it's likely that I'll be dealing with computers and numbers...I just don't want to be the dumbest person at AIT.

Do not worry about making to many assumptions about initial training - after all that is what it is "initial". You will be trained as though you have no previous experience from the beginning. As always any personal/professional developmnet you do to make yourself better in areas of math (for example) will only assist you in succeeding in your goals.
When you get to AIT you will not be expected to be a mathmetician - you basic math ability that was scored in the ASVAB gave you scores that show you have the ability to do this job with your current knowledge. As you progress through training you will find that you will become more knowledgeable and proficient as your training progresses.
By all means pursue additional training to make your current skills better - it only serves you better both in the military and tha civilian world.
