Just a quick question. I am interested in enlisting and going to basic training in a state I do not currently live in. Is this possible? Can I pick where I want to train? If I can does the guard provide housing or housing assistance during and after basic training and MOS training? I assume I will have to start part time and won't be full time in the guard from reading posts on this forum. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

In most cases, training will be in a state other than the state in which you live. You will be provided with housing, food, and everything else you need during that time. You will be paid active duty pay during Basic Training and AIT. Upon completion of basic and AIT, you will return to the state in which you live in and begin working one weekend per month.
