I just finished baisc trainning at fort benning and now i'm getting ready to start back going to school. But i recently found out that the college first program might not be in my contract because i didn't score above a 50 on my asvab so that means that i might not be able to finish my college education if i get deployed to afganistan or iraq. Is there another way that i can can ensure that i can finish my college first before deployment or am i just screwed?

I know that if you were going through the ROTC program you wouldn't get deployed, but that is only an option if you are serious about the military.

Who's to say that your unit is going to deploy??? Here is another option you can look into. Contact a Guard recruiter that covers your college and talk to them about ROTC. If you are in the ROTC program you are NON-DEPLOYABLE. So go sit down with them and find out before you start worrying about the future.

The only other way to ensure you don't get deployed while in college is to enroll in ROTC. Once you contract with ROTC, you are a non-deployable assett until you graduate.

Yep. That's what I'm doing.
It's called Simultaneous Membership, and the benefits are many.

I believe that if you scored 50 or above on your ASVAB you can qualify for the College First program but im not sure if that has to be in your contract before you sign or not, i'd check it out though.

When I enlisted, it was in my contract as an enlistment option. Has to be in there.

No advice on how to be sure not to be deployed (others have said do ROTC which probably pretty much covers it if you don't have College First in your contract). However, if you are deployed that shouldn't mean you won't finish college as you seem to imply. First, when you come back you should be able to go right back to where you left off. Also, I don't know how much time you'll have if deployed, but some people seem to manage to take an online class or two at a time while deployed. A couple hours a week to read and/or do your assignments outside of class and an hour or two online should be enough for each class, and I'm sure your professors will be willing to work with you on turning in assignments late if you are in combat or in the field for a long period of time. It isn't full-time, but just one class at a time over 2 semesters and a summer (2 summer sessions) comes out to 12 credits in 3 credit classes which is equivelent to the minimum full-time load for one semester (take a 4 credit class or two and you're even closer to the more standard 15 credit semester, and if you can handle more than one class/sem. you'll be even better off), so you won't have to lose too much time.
