I received a general discharge (under honorable conditions) from the Navy a couple years back and got a re-entry code of RE-4. The narrative reason for separation was misconduct. My question of course is, can I reenlist in the military? If so, can I go into the officer candidate program? I recently graduated from college and I was thinking of reenlisting again and work as an officer. I've heard that people with an RE-4 usually can't rejoin the military, but I refuse to give up. There's gotta be some type of waiver out there that will help me get back in! Please help. I love my country and would do anything to get back in!
