hey everyone. it's been a while since i've been on here because of all my school stuff. i'm still as serious, if not more so, about joining the Guard. the main problem is my weight. i'm in really bad shape, and i need to lose the weight as well as getting in better physical shape. any tips on eating or anything. i'm a 19 yr old female, 5' 4". i need to drop about 30 or 35 lbs to be able to join. any advice or tips on how to start working out would be great. thanks in advance.

I'm following roughly the same exercise program that we will be in bct. Also, I'm doing some of the normal stuff... eat less, eat healthier, and well, run more.

I've gotta lose 16+ pounds before I go in, and this is how mom (retired from army) told me to do so. Also other people from the NG have told me to do it this way as well.
