i will be graduating from a trade school with an associates of applied science in automotive. would this help me with a job as a mechanic in the gaurd also would i be able to make a little more with this degree in the guard?

The knowledge gained at the trade school will definitely help you if you were to get a job as a mechanic in the ARNG. As far as the associate degree, you'll be able to come in as an E-3/PFC (two ranks above the basic rank of E-1/PVT).
