What is your question? If I can't help you, I can refer you to my chaplain colleagues.

The Chaplain Assistant is in no way a prerequisite to becoming a Chaplain. They are two very different paths. To serve as a Chaplain you need endorsement from your denomenation, and a Master of Divinity degree (or equivalent). Check out http://www.oregonarmyguard.com/chaplain/forms.html
