I will be joining the guard as an enlisted troop but once I join what obstacles will I encounter becoming an officer. I have eight years enlisted and will have the 60 hours needed to put in an officer package. A good friend of mine was telling me about doing OCS as drill??? Is that possible or do you have to go to the several month OCS (hope that makes sense). Also how does promotions work once commissioned to 2nd LT? I have tons more questions but will ask my recruiter the rest of them.
